Role: Music Maker
Location: The Netherlands
I'm 50 years old now, married to Felicia and got a job distributing mail. We'd love to have kids, but we haven't. Besides that I make music at home, you may call it electropop. "Space Machine" (on PARTY IN SPACE) was inspired by SciFi movies from the fifties, a genre I really love.
1. Some Favorite Childhood Music
As a kid my first favourite band was The Monkees, when I was about ten I switched to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Later on I also became a huge Neil Young fan.
2. Favorite Childhood Games
In my time (wow, that sounds like grandpa's telling!) I loved to listen to the radio and play "grammophone" records. When I was about ten I started to sell my toy cars to buy singles. I liked to read about Dutch history. I never was an outdoor kid and I hated to do any kind of sport.
3. Favorite School Subjects
Reading and writing Dutch and history.
4. Some Favorite Places from Youth
My own room and (before I got my own radio) near the radio in the living room at Saturday afternoon to listen to the Top 40.
5. Childhood Heroes
The Monkees, Batman (Adam West), Thunderbirds, Flintstones, John Fogerty.
6. Dream Super Powers
To stop the time when I have fun, so it will last forever.
