Role: Storyteller
Location: England, United States of America
I was born in southern England a really long time ago. I’m an archaeologist and started off working on Roman sites. Not many of those in California where I live now, but I keep looking. When not doing archaeology stuff, I like to grow vegetables (need any zucchini?) and make audio recordings of classic novels that are released for free by Librivox.org.
1. Some Favorite Childhood Music
Robert Johnson (old-timey bluesman), Django Reinhardt (jazz guitarist), Steeleye Span/Maddy Prior (British folk-rock)
2. Favorite Childhood Games
Avoiding sports is a sport. Didn't like rugby and could never work out the rules of cricket (the ball is really hard, too).
3. Favorite School Subjects
English writing and literature
4. Some Favorite Places from Youth
The steps of the British Museum - we used to eat our sandwiches there on school outings. Also, Epping Forest where I spent most of my time.
5. Childhood Heroes
No one you've heard of...
6. Dream Super Powers
A heart, a brain, the nerve. I wouldn't mind being invisible, especially on Mondays.
